Our Richfield Hometown 4th of July Celebration is a 100% Volunteer & 100% Sponsored event. Without the help of volunteers, these events would not happen. Contrary to popular belief, the 4th of July events are not put on by the City of Richfield, but is made possible through the dedication of a select group of volunteers. With that said, we could not put on the events without the cooperation of the City and their contribution of logistical support. However, to be able to continue this annual celebration, we need volunteers! Your volunteer time can be for an entire season, an entire day or simply a single event or task within the event.

Fireworks ~ Parade ~ Street Dance
as well as Ambassadors ~ Concessions ~ Entertainment ~ Fundraising ~ Logistics ~ Organizing Volunteers ~ Parking ~ Photography ~ Publicity ~ Set-Up / Clean-Up
Assignments will be given based
on committee needs, your interest & experience.
| Volunteer Gifts
Richfield’s 4th of July Celebration is planned by an all volunteer committee of about 10 people. In addition, over 100 volunteers help put on all of the events. Please help us thank these volunteers for all of their hard work by donating a gift for the volunteers. Note: We need 125 of each item donated to ensure all volunteers receive a gift. Sample gifts: gift certificates, free product/service coupon, etc. We also need cases of water and pop for the volunteers to drink during the events, bags of candy for the parade and misc. items for the Family Night events.
